The intended user is the Republic of Tsingtao, for its army.  Haven't decided if I'm going to use the parts or scratch up a 128mm gun

You could do a modified 13.5 cm since that was a German WWI caliber.  That would help to distinguish the narrative.

That's a mean looking cannon right there ! What did the original have ? Doesn't look overly big ( from the pic on the box ) but rather long ?

8.8 cm L/71 PaK 43, if memory serves.  Basically the same gun the King Tiger carried, in anti-tank form (though it predated the King Tiger).  Should be the same gun as the Nashorn and the Jagdpanther, too.

More for front glacis plate, and the armor skirts tacked on with the fighting section resting on top of the chassis.  The sides will be sloped into the skirts so incoming rounds will hopefully ricochet.

Its explained here.  But, in a nutshell, the Governor of the Imperial German Concession of Tsingtao saw the writing on the wall that the he was on his own when the 1st World War kicked off, and told Willy to sod off and declared independence and neutrality

Home from work with a legitimate cold, I decided to get some more work done on Mr Ferdi...







The fighting section, with the ERA armor.  The small box on the roof is the new periscope and laser rangefinder/designator.  I decided to stay with the 8.8 cm cannon; with a modern tungsten sabot penetrator, it'd probably make for an even more effective anti-tank weapon.
