Thank you, Old Wombat and NARSES2, for the nice words and for following along!

NARSES2

Thankyou for putting your builds here
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Librarian

A stunning achievement all round, very inspirational too. Sci-Fi allows such a wonderful scope for the imagination. Thanks for sharing .

My favourite is the ringed camo.

MichelC

NARSES2, thanks for giving me a place to put them! ;)

Librarian, thanks a lot. That camo is courtesy of Peter Allen (no, not THAT Peter Allen, please don't post that pic again! LOL) as far as the inspiration is concerned and straight out of Luft 46.

Captain Canada

Wow...how did this one get even better ? Great job. Love how realistic it looks.

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

zenrat

Brilliant.
Well done.

What's next then?
Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

zenrat industries:  We're everywhere...for your convenience..

Flabber now most definitely gasted.

All that is missing:

;D

Congrats, Michel . Very cool result. I can only hope my Falke will turn out this nice. One day.

MichelC

Thanks, Sticky Fingers!

That comic book yours?  :o Lucky you! Got none of them Japanese Ma.K comics on my bookshelf.  :-\

Mossie

Fantastic work again Michel.       Yet another modelling masterclass!

Already looking forward to your next project.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

After the flag pops out of the cockpit (pilot long gone after the crash) the Kröte shoots the Falke to bits.
No sense of humour, those pesky Strahl people.

Thanks for the link. I always wondered if those were worth the money. Especially considering that my Japanese vocabulary includes sushi and Yamamoto and not much else. What say you?

All of those books are i.m.o. worth their money. That said, I bought most of them second hand ;)
But the one I linked to is great for diorama inspiration and gives you a "feel" for how the suits might move, and the modelling books, especially the first one is great for understanding how Kow works, and that's only from the photo's, as my Japanese vocabulair only includes sayonara, plamo and moshi-moshi. And now sushi and yamamoto. The other books are just plain eye candy

By the way: if I recall correctly, on the maschinenkrueger forum you can find translations for some of the more well known books and articles.

Thank you, my friend. A personal recommendation is worth a lot more than any reviews, ads and descriptions. I think I will invest in some of this stuff in the future. I like books and comics anyway.

True about the translation on the maschinenkrueger site, I remember having seen it at one time.

Thanks again for your input!

I need some help from you guys with the following: I'm looking for pic of a historical map of Africa, preferably the entire continent, showing the territories controlled by the Axis and the Allies. The exact date doesn't matter, any time during the conflict.

I've been googling but astonishingly enough there's very little to be found.

Yes, this has something to do with the Falke's build! ;)
