A Destroyer being built  in the UK  for Japan  taken over by the Italian navy  in 1918 and then taken over the Germans and adapted into a  Seehund carrier  in the style of the kaiten carriers used by the Japanese.

It's modelled on the back story of the Audace an actual ship just with added Seehunds.

Not sure how practical a pair of minisubs will be on the stern of a ww 1 era destroyer but I reckon it will look cool.

But I saw a diagram of the Japanese Ships with the launching rails and thought they'd make a good subject

Just went for a  German crewed , ex Italian, Japanese ordered , British built ship.

Wait till i finish my Austro Hungarian/Italian/ German Cruiser
and my Yugoslavian/ Italian/ German  Destroyer Leader

They tend to end up German as I can get German AA easier than any other countries.

Why are the fore and aft decks painted in red and white stripes? Wouldn't that make it easier for any bombers to aim more exactly?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
