Aldi, Airfix starter sets for £4.99

Time for the yearly shopping trip to Aldi! Airfix starter sets are back in from sunday 15 Dec. Curtiss Tomahawk, Red Arrows Gnat,Spitfire, Mustang, Messerschmitt and Focke-Wulf. At £4.99, a bargain, or, if like me, you live in Ireland €6.99! (Why do i feel like i'm getting ripped of living here!)

Are they all the new tooling?

Picked up a couple last year and snuck them in the house. Only issue I have is the decals being a bit sparse in the starter sets. Ah well can't complain at that price.

They also have these in Halfords for £5, I saw the Red Arrows Hawk and the car kits. Aston Martin DB5, Triumph Herald, Jaguar E-Type.

Lots of boys toys too like Meccano, R/C cars and helicopters and Hornby train sets.

They are reduced to £3.49 in Crewe Aldi.....got a FW190A8, Kittyhawk, Me109 and Mustang....all new tool.....bargain...!!!!

Sold out before they went cheap round our way but did cave in and pick up a could, well the lad who's only just 2 seemed to like them so I couldn't disappoint the poor lad could I.

The Bracknell Aldi  is dowm to the last dozen or so, mainly 190's and 109's. I managed to get a couple of them into the bargin.  It would have been nice to get a couple of the car kits for the nephews but c'est la vie!!!
