Yea, already figured out it's going to be a tailsitter, so am going to get half a tonne of lead shot in the nose to balance it up.  Then I'm going to reinforce my man-cave walls and shelves so I can display this beast....

Devilfish

After many many many sessions of filling and sanding, I have finally got the wings to a reasonable state.....

Not perfect, but I'm sick of doing them now...

McColm

I toyed with a delta from the B-58 Hustler and changing the air intakes to something resembling the F-4 Phantom. Then I had another idea of a V/STOL version. Just gathing the parts at the moment.
Great build.

PR19_Kit

Those monster wings are all sorts of impressive, terrific work there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Having said I was fed up with sanding the wings, I immediately decided that the bit over the intake didn't look right, so I extended it up to the fuselage....

Got a bit more done on this.   It's on its own legs now, with the aid of 2 pretty big bolts behind the cockpit to weigh it down.  And I have started making up the sensor/camera bay.

Captain Canada

That's gonna be huge ! Love it. Big, fast, and scary ! The sensor bay is coming along nicely. Always liked an aeroplane with lots of lumps and bumps.
