the usaf found themselves in need of a medium/heavy bomber for more subtle/precise missions than 1 million b52s. they intended to use the hustler but they had too many issues with it so they decided to loan some vulcan b2s from the raf

the decals were a pig and just fell to bits so this is as good as i could do

Beautiful model and a fantastic concept, I'd thought about doing something similar in the past, very well done 

Regarding the chirality, depends on what particular universe you're inhabiting ;).

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Actually, it was decided in the early 60s that aircraft of foreign manufacture, serving with the USAF, would have the normal national marking alignment reversed in order to more readily distinguish them from American products. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Damned fine model!

Agree wholeheartedly!

I assumed that the reversal of the marking alignment was something obscure to do with  Britain driving on the Left (in our view the  right) side of the   road  and the USA on the Right (in  our view the wrong) side  of the road.  On reflection, I prefer your reasoning.

That sounds TOTALLY logical to me, and suits a remarkably good piece of modelling.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
