I'm having trouble picturing a figure that's 38-56-8.
Those are serious snake hips.

Anyway, from my new favourite LHS;
Airfix Fairy Fulmar and Petlyakov Pe-2.
No idea what i'll do with either of them but you lot persuaded me the Fulmar was worth grabbing and the Pe-2 was next to it on the shelf.
And I only went in for paint...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Valiant box isn't Lancaster sized its a larger Nimrod sized box and add to that the Addon pack too

Right. As it's not in my area of interest I had an idea (wrongly) it was  :banghead: Apologies for any confusion caused.

Still the RM website link may help any others check their postage costs

With a bit of fiddling the Valiant Add-on bits will fit inside the main box, mine's been like that since I bought them both.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Gondor

From Hannants I received

1 x 1/72 Valiant add on parts

1 x 1/350 HMS Illustrious because it was 50% off. Box size 68 x 32 x 8cm which confused me a little as I imagined the box was deeper when I saw in a shop.

Thinking Post 82 with P.1216's on it rather than the Harriers

From the Modeling concession in the old Alders in Croydon

Airfix 1/72 Spitfire F.22, probably to be RAAF for my 1946 war in the Far East scenario
Airfix 1/72 Mustang F.51D, thinking either Brazilian in Italy or Mexican in the Phillipines instead of the P47's they had

Main reason I got them was 50% off making them £3.99 each  ;D

From F&S Models in Droylesden:

Zvezda 1/72nd Soviet Ski Troops (so I can nick their skis)
Ratio OO/HO gauge Pallets, Sack & Barrels
Academy 1/72nd Cessna A-37B Dragonfly

Havn't got a specific plan for the A-37B yet, but it looks very nice, it was only £7, and I have a liking for Dragonflies....

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
