From the charity figures project on the Frothers forum, 28mm limited edition Tank Girl, Booga and Camp Koala figures.

This was organised by the folk who run the Frothers forum and the figures were made by professional industry sculptors working in their own time for free. To get them, "customers" had to make a substantial donation to Cancer Research or the MS Society, and this has raised over £11,000 so far. Given the charity nature of the exercise, I'd have been happy if they'd been a bit ropey, but in fact, they are absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful fine detail and perfect casting.

Huge round of applause to everyone involved.

Thanks to Steel Penguin for giving me the heads-up on this.

Awwww man, I am so jealous.  I love Tank Girl.
I demand pictures.
Did you get the tank or just the figures?
"My tank is like Dr Who's Tardis.  On the outside it looks really small and on the inside it's full of sh*t"
Best cartoon from the 90's that wasn't in 2000AD.  I still have all the comics, books and copies of Deadline with it in.

Today I got an Airfix 1/76 softtop LWB Landrover but it pales into insignificance compared to Tank Girl.
It'll either become a PDRV Secret Police vehicle or a technical and have an anti aircraft gun mounted on the back.

Thanks guys.  Not my usual scale, but I've got to admit I'm tempted as I do like WWI armour.  With a St Chamond in their range, as well as 1/16 Renaualt FT's...
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Zenrat,   Don't know abought Weaver but I only got tankie,  Booga and Kamp Kowalla.  there is a tank being done but they sold out in hours.
if you follow the link to Frothers and look at page 15 of the thread  there is a pic ( if you want to risk looking round frothers theres at least one set painted up in the minis section, though be warned moderation is something that is rarely practiced there)

Just had an Omega Models Letov S-331 biplane delivered. A resin kit, quite nice but not remarkable got it because it was cheap. However it arrived packaged in a box that once held 'Finish Powerball' Dishwasher tablets (other dishwasher thingys are available). What I have got is the best smelling kit I've ever owned ! Lemon fresh.  Going to scourer around for more boxes like these to store my kits !

Yep.  Found them.  Thanks for the pointer.
I'm even more jealous.  I think I might have to dig out the Graphic Novel and work out what i'd need to kit bash/scratchbuild the tank...

I only got the three figures: waaay too late for the tank.

Alan Martin's been doing new Tank Girl stuff with different artists since 2008. IMHO Rufus Dayglo has done the best of it, but unfortunately, they seem to have fallen out.

BTW, you need to look at this thread: http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,29251.0/highlight,tank+girl.html
