I'd agree with Lee there, both the F2A and the F6 have the rear half of the belly tank moulded in situ with the fuselage so they'd need a totally new mould for that.

snippex applied

somewhat bizarrely they have pilot holes for the refuelling probe in BOTH lower wing halves! That'd make an interesting 'spot the difference' model, wouldn't it? I may do that on the PR9.  ;D ;)

oh, ok. one can but dream. either way i am surely right about the spare parts.

btw, some of their harrier GR7/9/9A boxings have the pilot holes on both sides of the intakes too for the IFR probe

Up until now I've only ever used the "buy it now" button.....so, I'm happy to say ( and rather excited !) that I've just won my first ebay auction !

I stumbled across a set of 6 bagged Shackleton kits for $19 CDN. So I hit the bid button.

Got to work this morning and remebered there was only a day left, so I checked in to see that in actuality there was really just over an hour, and I still had the winning bid. Figured I'd better log in and check it out. But, being on my work PC and not at home, I didn't have the password ! Panic time....had the reset request sent to my home email, but I can't access that on my work PC, so I had to go thru my phone, which ( amazingly ) worked.

Now just under an hour to go....so back to work I go.

Luckily I sat down at the comp with 1 minute left, and I was outbid ! Being an amateur, i stumbled and fumbled my way to bid @ $22....and then watched the seconds tick down until I was confirmed the winner ! Very exciting stuff, I can see how this would be addicting.

So, they're now bought and paid for. Cool beans. Lots of contra props and funky Shack/Lanc parts !

$22 for SIX Shackleton kits? That sounds like the buy of the century Cap'n! Well done indeed.

Yeah! that's a way better deal than the five I got at GBP8.00 each (from Hannants)

Well, it was 22 USD I learned after the fact, still no big deal. Then I changed my shipping address from MI USA back to my home ( the kits are coming from Vancouver ) and the shipping went from 14 to 22 USD, and then the whole thing coverted back to CDN ended up at a total of $50. Still a not a bad deal for 6 kits I'd say....

Captain,
looks like the seller has a warehouse full of them! He's just listed another lot of them!
Just went through his listings, and a lot of interesting 'job lots'.

Captain Canada

lol I was just coming here to say the same thing ! Another boxless 6 pack for 17.77 ! There are some other sweet deals in there as you said, like 6 or more of the old Firefly kits for 15 !

A relatively cheap Matchbox Twin Otter (Revell re-boxing) - no plan for it, but for less than EUR 8 I had to take this opportunity...
Even if it is just for the optional floats!

Right so shipping within Canada is more expensive then shipping Canada to USA ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Twin Otters.....love that aeroplane !

Ya I found that bizarre as well Chris. I could have had it shipped to the depot in MI for cheaper, but then it's a trip across ( $6 in bridge toll ) and a 2 dollar fee at the depot, and then customs...which would be tricky ( I'm assuming ) having bought it in Canada, shipping it to the US, and then bringing it back to Canada !

What are the decal options on the one Martin? Can't find any mention of it on their website.

Those Sword Harrier trainers are quite nice kits ---    What do Colin's intakes do to enhance it Geoff?

They're moulded with the blow-in intake doors in the open position, or at least the upper ones anyway. As they go down the intake they're moulded more and more closed, just like the real thing when the engine's not running and it's on the ground.

They work on almost every 1/72 scale Harrier kit as everyone uses the same joint line thank godness.
