Airfix 1/72 De Havilland DH.82a Tiger Moth. Lovely little kit of a lovely little aeroplane.

Second that. Saw the kit/box at a friend - sweet piece!

All 1/72, all from eBay:

Academy OV-10A Bronco
Academy JU-87 G-1
Novo Vultee A-31 Vengeance Mk.II
Hobby Boss F/A-18 A

I only purchased the F-18 because in the eBay photo it had "Includes RAAF decals" on the box lid. The kit that turned up doesn't have that on the lid and only has CAF and Blue Angels decals .

An early Italeri F-18 kit has RAAF decals, as well as USN, CAF and Spanish options.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

From Kingkit this morning,
2 x AZ model Spitfire Tr.9, both to be RW IAC service.
But.... What to do with the two spare Tr.8 fuselages?   Wooksta????

Ray

The Wooksta!

You mean the single seat fuselages, plus the other oodles of spare bits left over?

Buy one of the CMR* Spitfire IXs - the early RR conversion is ideal, albeit a bit pricey - and build as it is.  You'll have a lot of spares from that, especially a wing, canopy and a prop.  Uncle Colin and Freightdog might sell you a set of Merlin radiators and you can still get Aeroclub's Spitfire undercarriage set.

IIRC, there's another set of Irish markings left over in the kit.  Ideal for the Airfix Spitfire IXc - Ireland wanted Spitfires, Mk IXs, but ended up with reconditioned Seafires.

*These are the Rolls Royce of 72nd Spitfire kits and many come with lots of spare bits.  They are pricey but, depending on the kit, when you start breaking the bits down and pricing them up as aftermarket, it actually looks to be more realistic.  Best VFM is teh mk IXe international boxing.

Wooksta,
Many thanks for the info. Will go hunting for the CMR kit, (as soon as funds allow!)
Have a couple of Airfix IX's, buried, somewhere. I'll be digging them out.
