Picked up for the princely sum of £4 at a car boot sale (of all places!) - a pair of Heller Mirage IV kits, one in 1/72 & one on 1/48. No boxes, instructions or decals but, what the hell!!
Allan
I've got the 72 scale one kicking about somewhere. If you want I can scan the instructions for you.

I have just checked that both the 1/72 Mirage IV kits I have both contain the instructions so I can send you one of them if you wish.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Yes Lee, that Aston is 1/32, ideal slot racing scale.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Wooksta!

Got to be better than the Airfix DBRR as it looks to be kerbside rather than a racer.

I've one of those sitting 3/4 completed on the "in progress" shelf.

How is the man by the way ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Hobby Boss 1/72 Hawker Sea Hawk Mk.100/101 from The Real Model Shop in Hull

I'll probably do a land based version, as per these profiles I did some years back:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Today, from the LHS:

Zvezda 1:100 BTR-80 APC.

This will form part of the diorama for my Za Rodinu! GB build, which I hope to make some progress on over the Easter holidays. Nice and simple (it's meant for wargames), it should go together quickly and easily.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Ordered, and waiting to arrive at the Post Office next week:
1/48 scale Hobby Boss YF-23 ATF Prototype stealth fighter
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Picked up a couple things at the Anniston show today.

2x KP Mig-21 MF. One RW and one WHIFF
Airfix Mig 21 (early) to be determined
Frog Wyvern. Looking for a good WHIFF idea for this on.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Parcel waiting on my doorstep, one RarePlane 1/72 Boeing KC-97G/L with metal parts and two clear cockpit transparencies.
Although the two fuselage halves have solid noses which will ease the process of converting it into a flying plane. The white metal undercarriage, propellers and radial cover will be used on my other C-97 builds. The auxiliary jet pods and pod fuel tanks, internal details used elsewhere including the flying boom.
The new shoulder wing will come from an Acadamey kit, cut and slotted into place. Sponsors off the Italeri MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter kit will cover the mounts for the lower wing. Will try this idea out on the stretched P-97 MR first.
I can use the Vulcan wings on the Airfix B-29 (again!)
