My little haul in Perth was simply 3 Matchbox kits in 1/72.
1x HS Hawk in box.
2x BAC Strikemaster, one in box as new.
The other one was in a bag and started but is missing the right side jet intake (Part no 5), if anyone has a replacement?

PR19_Kit

From today's MK show :-

1) ex-Frog Shackleton from Knightflyer

2) Eastern Express  1/144 Beriev 200 Altair amphibiian. I didn't even know the kit existed until I saw it on a vendor's stand  today.  :o

Yes, I KNOW I said I wasn't going to buy any more kits this year, but an Altair???? No contest!

Army of One

From MK show today......an Italeri Mi24 Hind D/E, Zvezda Su39 both 1/72 and an italeri 1/35 sherman. From NARSES2 a matchbox spitfire ix/xvi and a fury biplane. From Knightflyer got an old Shackleton and a Sea Vixen......the shack seemed like a good idea at the time....dunno what I'm gonna do with it....when asked by a few peeps why I got it 'coz I ain't got one.....' was all I could answer....but absolutely love the Sea Vixen.....wish I'd got another two of them instead of the shack.....ah, hindsight.......

on the bench:

On the bench.
1/72 Space 1999 Eagle, Comet Miniatures Martian War Machine
1/72nd Quad Tilt Rotor, 1/144th V/STOL E2 Hawkeye (stalled)

Knightflyer

Well apart from selling Shackletons and Sea Vixens (hooray – slight stash REDUCTION finally ) at Milton Keynes I bought

2 x S&M 1/144 Viscount at £1 each – definite whiff fodder!
A Novo Westland Wallace for £2 – I've already got one to make 'real-world' but picked this up. It's moulded in dark blue plastic, so maybe a high altitude PR aircraft? ...it did after all fly over Mount Everest!

When I got home I found I'd won the following on Ebay
MPM Spitfire Mk.18
Xtrakit Swift FR.5 – finally for less that the reduced price Hannants are selling them for
Magna Martin-Baker MB.3

And on Monday I managed to get round to picking up the Freightdog parcel from the Post Office, it contained ...

Freightdog 1/72 'Brits at Sea Pt.II' decal sheet
Freightdog 1/72 'Gods of Sea and Fire' decal sheet
TwoSix Decals 1/72 Vickers Viscount 745D 'ETPS' complete kit
Freightdog / Airdecal 1/72 Hawker P.1109A conversion set
Pegasus 1/72 Airco DH-5 with new decals + etched struts
Pegasus 1/72 Martinsyde Elephant

So this is it, the buying MUST STOP! :banghead: I hereby give notice that if any of you see me reach for my wallet at a model show (and it isn't in the food/drink queue!) you have my permission to beat me senseless with a blunt Starfix Spitfire, or similar object! ;D :o
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

If you can, I'd sell on the MPM Spit - the whole fuselage has a suspect shape and the nose is way off, being very banana shaped.  I don't like the wings either and the way they fit, you can't use a new one to try and salvage it. The wheels look nowt like anything fitted to any mark of Spit.  The prop, decals and the brass might be useable. Horrid kit*, although I like the box art.

Better off with a Ventura/Jays kit or the more recent AZ kit.  Failing that, a Fujimi FR14e with the Freightdog XVIII conversion.

*Their PRXIX was similar, although they redid it totally for the Airfix Millenium set and it's a warmed over Fujimi Spit.

Apparently I am now the owner of a 1/72 Frog Shackleton!
I saw a pair on display at Perth and they are bigger than I expected, not sure what I was thinking.  :banghead:

I have a scheme in mind but have to find suitable Lincoln or Lancaster markings first.

The Wooksta!

Won on ebay:

Box containing a load of Spitfire bits, including an Airkit C wing conversion.

It's supposedly 3 Tamiya kits but to my eye, it's an Airfix mk Ia and an unidentified Ventura kit, plus a wealth of extras.

Off eBay an Xtrakit Hunter T-7, may do another P1130 project if Colin still has any of the Freightdog conversions in stock.

Arrived from the UK today courtesy of Evil-Bay - a pair of 1/72 Pavla resin Double Wasps (for late B-26).  Obviously they will go nowhere near a Marauder...
