Airfix 1/76 Forward Command Post, as a diorama background for all those Great War tanks I've got.

Do you have the base for it ?

Thanks Geoff.  I not too worried about the base as it'll be more of a backdrop ruin, rather than a command post.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'm mad.

Just ordered 3 x Monogram/Revell 1/48th P-61s. They'll all be daft ones of course.

I liked the SEAC scheme and the BPF one was gorgeous even though I can't work out how/why they would get one ? Apart from the obvious of using it off an island base of course

Acquired today - Academy 1/48 Mirage IIR (for all of £6.99!), will go nicely with the carcass of the one I have to make a super-upgrade Mirage for my Wylde Fyre builds.

Oh, and a 1/48 CH-53G... Oh my. That is rather large. My local hobby store did it for under £30, which was pretty amazing given the size...!

Howard of Effingham

visiting relations of mine in nottingham this weekend, i popped into a hardware/DIY store to see if they had any 'wet and dry' paper. they did and so i bought a
few sheets.

the surprise in a small rack of humbrol paint they had was to find a solitary and in mint condition pot of humbrol authentics  paint color MC8 which must have
been untouched for um..... at least 20 years. by the look of the label in the lid, the paint within appears to be a dark blue shade.

can anyone remind me what the correct name for humbrol authentics color MC8 was?

from another shop in the city, GeeDee models infact, i was able to add a 1/76 Ford Transit diecast and three lengths of ultra fine piano wire to the stash.

If it's not black is it still a Black Widow?
Use Desert Pink & call it a Merry Widow?

Yes, Dessert Pink,

or
Lady Be Good II
