Thorvic, that's what I was going to say
Kit That im afraid ive no idea, I could google it but that's cheating to appear smarter than I am.
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

McColm

Class 503 was an electrical power car, in layman's terms the front end of a carrige where the driver sits. They ran from Liverpool to West Kirby, Wirral and Mersey, New Brighton and Rock Ferry.

PR19_Kit

Being REALLY JMN, the 503 Class was the whole train, driving car and the trailer cars as well.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

[we were talking about the LMS/BR class 503 EMU etched brass kit in 4mm scale by judith edge]

um what a can of worms i opened here!  ;D but i have no regrets as this is most definately a model kit, mostly
etched brass but with some cast resin as well. the detail is pretty good and the etched brass very thin indeed.

mccolm is right. class 503's used to run on merseyside to various destinations. one set of three coaches escaped
the scrap man after withdrawal by BR in the 1980's. two of the coaches were preserved in coventry and one on merseyside. PR19_kit has probably seen the two coaches in coventry,  ;)

however, back to the more usual things for this thread, i've added to the stash....

1/72 Revell Rescue Boat - Seenotrettungsboat 'Walter Rose/Verena'. this has lots of wiff potential as its a small kit and looks quite like some of the ISU [inshore security unit] boats and the lifeboats [various classes] that the USN and USCG have in service currently. i foresee a RNLI, RAF marine branch and a USCG one being built as its that nice a kit i've ordered two more.

ive seen that kit in the shops to, would make for a nice Belgian Navy rescueboat, or a Belgian Coast Guard vessel (in combination with a 1/72 SA365 in Belgian Coast Guard colors :)

Train noun
Moving linear ground target. Can be quite fast, but completely unmaneuverable. Best attacked crossways with RPs or lengthways with cannon. Bombing rails, junctions, bridges or tunnels ahead of the actual train can also yield good results.

Or just let SouthWest Trains run it. It will remain stationary, and so be strategically worthless.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks
