Ah, good to know, thanks for the info. It was cheap, though...  ;D

The Wooksta!

Tamiya have a deal with Italeri to rebox and market Italeri stuff in Japan.  Any such kits are for the Japanese market only but naturally, some escape into the wild.

There's quite a few Hasegawa kits that are intended for the Japanese domestic market only but have also sneaked out - the jet Shinden being one of them.

Hannants sell them in the UK. Clearly marked as Italeri kits marketed by Tamiya. Must admit I can't quite get my brains around why unless it's because the Italeri boxings are no longer available ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

zenrat

I buy them from Hobby Link Japan.  Especially when they drop the price down to $7 each.
They might not say Italeri on the box but they clearly say made in Italy/boxed in Japan.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

On layby with Uncle Frank:

RS Airspeed Envoy
Xtradecal Blenheim Mk I

There's a few other Blenheim sheets I'd like, one of which has a PRU Blenheim IV.  Which will do nicely for the Airfix one later in the year.

Direct from our very own Renax, one Sharkit Douglas 1183C.

And via their own ebay listing, one Scatchaeronautics CASA CN 235 Persuader. (The Irish MPA version)
This was ordered two-three weeks ago, but as his kits are cast to order thats not bad a turn around for what I understand is a one man band.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Can you us a link to that please OGL? I've tried a ebay search on all possible words and it doesn't come up with anything.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards

Thank you kindly OGL, that DOES look good.

I'm seriously tempted as I was invited aboard one of the two IAC Persuaders at Fairford a few years ago. A VERY impressive aircraft and crew.
