Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

In Calgary today, picked up a new tool Airfix 1/72 Harrier GR.1 and an Italeri 1/72 F-35A.  As this kit doesn't have any Canadian marking included, bought a set of CF-188 decals to rob --

Edit:

Just made an order for the Fujimi 1/72 F-35B too ---

The Fujimi F-35B was at the post office yesterday, initial look at it reveals a very nice model.  I think I'll use the camo decals on a Brit or Canadian in-service type though, not as a Japanese one---
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Likewise from Works only three Airfix Harrier GR1s, on reflection I should have got more, now to get some other decal options.
Colouring pixels is less messy than kit bashing.

Had a backlog of deliveries yesterday from the Post office which led to the usual comment of 'what's all this lot suddenly appearing, haven't you got enough' speeches  :banghead:

Off eBay
Fujimi 1/72 RN Phanton FG1 new from Japan
Tomorrows Eagle - Paul Lucas's book on the TSR2 as my copy has a massive crease in the back cover so needed a new bookcase copy

Off Britmodeller sale
Fujimi 1/72 RN Phantom F-4K older tooling plus MA RN Phantom decals

Off Hannants
Academy 1/72 F-35A that I had forgotten that I had pre-ordered  :banghead:

So instead of appearing piecemeal over the last week I get home to a stack of boxes

Not a bad idea! But I already have another idea for an Israeli, re-built ex WWII fighter for the late 40ies on my list.
I have the vague idea of creating something French from it, though. But there are projects with higher priority (for) now.
