I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

from Poland, one Valom FJ-1 Fury.

Wondered if you would get one of those  ;)

From Hannants

yes you guessed it, i bought another one  :banghead:

Fujimi 1/72 F-4 Phantom FG1 Silver Jubilee

Yes i know it was more expensive than my other sources and yes i have quite a few now, but as i was asking Dave Hannant at the Hotel at SMW about re-doing the MA RN Phantom Decals or even do their own RN Phantom decals (RAF ones are well covered but no FAA), i thought i had better order the kit to show its in demand and for them to do the decals (btw its 2nd in their Top 10 behind their new Hurricane decals)

Found two 1/72 Revell Br1150 Atlantics on eBay. I'm going to use one for spare parts and convert the other to an AEW.

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

From Airfix, the 2014 club kit: 1/72nd Swordfish and Hurricane in Operation Torch markings.

The Swordfish in particular looks lovely, but I don't know if I'll ever have the nerve to build it (rigging... :o). May just keep it for a while then sell it on. It only adds £10 to the membership fee, so if you'd be joining anyway, getting the kit is a no-brainer since the Swordfish alone retails at £18.00....

Schleich Meerkats.....does that count?
I need their heads for 1/35th figures. ;)

Also a Hobby Boss 1/72 trio arrived ordered a while ago:
Rafale C, F-15C, F-16C.....expect all to be in their proper national colours, but in Ace Combat-type schemes.

When I got back to work today after a few days off due to an abscess I found the following had arrived for me

From ebay

1 x 1/48 Hasegawa F110-A This has the same decals and markings of the 1/72 scale bother but obviously in 1/48.

From our very own pyro-manic

1 x 1/72 Revell Me 262 B-1a/U1 Night fighter which is going to replace a similar kit by SMER which is being used for something else.

From facebook where some fellow is selling kits

1 x 1/72 Airfix Jetstream. Probably going to be a C-10 of some kind just to throw the JMN's a curved ball

The Wooksta!

Got some white metal u/c at wor club neet t'other day - can't remember who they're by but there's two sets per box - and they're for the Airfix Typhoon (new tool), DH Vampire (for the Dragon kit but they'll find their way onto a Heller Vampire or Mistral) and DH Venom.

Deals are also in the works to buy up a small collection of Spitfires, but may cherry pick rather than take the lot.
