Couple of rolls of hopefully decent very narrow masking tape

If it's from Little Cars or it's Jammy Dog then it needs to be burnished well as its a fair bit thicker then Tamiya but it's quite good. I use the 0.5mm and 0.75mm for canopy frames. The actual frames not masking

Good show, good company + a great weekend

Show a tad crowded but I managed to grab

Airfix Lysander - cheers for spotting that Dork. Box had two price tags so me and the gent agreed on a compromise....split the difference  ;D
Airfix new tool Hurricane Mk I
Freightdog 20mm cannon and 5 spoke wheels for Airfix Hurricane
Sanding sponges
Flat brushes

And that was it, the other things I wanted weren't about

this afternoon, i bought a Heller 1/144 Sky Patrol set.

however, after unwrapping and opening the box, i noticed a Serious Product Fail

according to the box, the content should have been 3 Launch platform displays and a 1/144 E-2C Hawkeye, Rafale-M and an F/A-18 Hornet.
hoever, after opning the box, instead of a Rafale-M, it contained an A-10 Thunderbolt, and instead of a F/A-18, they gave me a 1/72 Spitfire Mk.XVI

instructions were also a fail, as it contained 2 for the E-2C, and 1 for the A-10.

so far, the only thing correct in this package are the 3 display stands and the E-2 kit.
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Dizzyfugu

An Airfix Kamov Ka-25. Was cheap, and I intend to convert it into a non-co-axial rotor heli with a "normal" (maybe from a CH-34 or a Wessex) tail.

Helicopters are rare on whatifmodelers.com

It isn't: it's proper yellow Japanese stuff, from a (mostly) book publishing stand on the side wall of the hall just near to our table. Can't remember their name - sorry.

Take it you too baulked at the price of some of those Russian resin & etch kits with eye watering prices ?.

Its a nice kit, glad they went with the detailed kit rather than the snap fit they intended for their wargame, but the crew cabins will need to have fixtures added from the spares box as they are empty shells.

Not cheap, I'll grant you but I picked up most of them on my trips abroad and haggled. The only one that really gave me a sharp intake of breath was the S-125M (nasty looking beastie). Huge box for a small kit and I miscalculated the price having had one too many fizzy hop flavoured beverages. Paid nearly 40 quid for that one ! The Zebrano's were the best 2 for the price of 1 in a shop in Germany that was closing down!
