From Crewe show......

Revell 1/48 CH53 GA....from the raffle
Revell 1/72 F16 Dutch solo display....legitimately won in the raffle.....!!!!!

So does that mean the CH53 was illegitimately won or that the Mrs thinks it was won in the raffle ?  ;D

Mate.....spent a fiver on tickets.....the bloke running it knew I wanted it and said make him an offer......got it for a tenner.....still got the raffle ticket on it.......got the F16 and 2 bags of sweets for Max......not bad....I put the 1/48 tamiya DAK figures back as no use for them and also some cosmetics....although I suppose I could have traded those with Radish..... ;)

Zvezda 1/72 "Topol" SS-25 "Sickle" Mobile ICBM Launcher

and rather bizarrely a Revell Boeing P-26 Peashooter, a 'couldn't-resist-at-that-price' from EvilBay.

Now can I whiff these two together ???

Airfix 1/72 Avro Lancaster B.I(F.E.)/B.III

Basically their new Lancaster kit using the sprues from the B.II/Dambuster making use of the optional .50 Turret and H2S radar and upper turret for the Far East version, and it still needs the Bomber support set to arm it. Nice vanilla Lancaster but a missed oppertunity to cater for post war versions by doing an extra sprue with later features, maybe next year !

If I can believe the sellers description on EBay I have just won a 1/72 vintage Revell 1982 HMS Ark Royal &Tribal class destroyer. Parts missing from the destroyer, instructions and flags. All for under a ten poundnote.
Could be 1/700, as I can't find any mention of such a large scale.

1/72 white metal flying boat beaching trolley from Esortoric Models. Looks like the CMK trolley for the Revell BV222.

Ta.  You've just saved me £30.  Won't buy it without the bits for the far east version  that they couldn't be arsed to do.  IIRC there was some complaint that the Revell Lancaster's radiators are too big.  Besides which, I'm unhappy with the fit of the Airfix Lancaster anyway.

Just ordered a pair of 1/144 PS-90 Engines (Resin Cast) from a Russian manufacturer called A.M.U.R. Reaver. They look decent and are originally intended for jet airliners (like the Tu-204), but they might also be useful for a 1:72 conversion... already have an evil idea!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
