Just picked up the 2 x Moebius Models Original Battlestar Galactica kits I ordered, from the Post Office this morning, that I had mentioned in Post # 297 on Page 20 of this thread.
The level of detail on these kits is sweet!  Totally awesome job.  The major downside is that I can't build a Battlestar with four flight pods like I was planning to. The way the flight pod support arms are molded/constructed and in numerous pieces makes my idea a no-go. :( I'm going to have to think of some new ideas to whif these Battlestars.
Maybe I'll start a new thread later showing pics of the sprues and instructions if I have time.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

The Wooksta!

Thanks to a tip off from the Evil Kit Finder General (aka Thorvic) I have now secured another Airkit Spitfire F22.

Figures are a bit soft in detail but usable, weapons need  some flash cleaned up. Remind me of early Tamiya.
One guy is kneeling with Dragunov sniper rifle, one has an RPK (I think) one has an AK-47 and the officer seems to have a Makarov pistol.
All magazine pouches are seperate parts but the bodies have depressions where the pouches fit.
