Having boggled at Howard's 'Lucky Dip' box of stuff at the show I can attest to the wonderments contained therein. Why doesn't that ever happen to ME though?

Because like me all you can see are the bits of rubbish and not the nuggets of gold  :banghead:

Three Hasegawa kits[RF101,F106 and a F20] for a fiver each, and a Belvedere for £7.50. Bargain  ;D

Steel Penguin

one  1:48 brengun AGN 109 Tomahwk   to be assembled as a recovery target for wargaming, and for standing in mad Genius's war rooms as a executive toy

1/72 Canadian decals for a C-130.
Might build an Avro Shackleton or BAe Nimrod using these decals.

Does the Tiger Moth have crew members?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yes, but the rear-seater has truncated legs.

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Belgian AF before the 42's came into service ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Few purchases from Sword and Lance this morning at Darlington:

Hasegawa Focke Wulf Ta 154 dayfighter (inc Eduard and Airwaves brass sets and canopy masks) (captured RAF one)
Heller Arado Ar 196A (to get spats and arrestor hook - again, captured RAF)
AZ Me Bf 109G (liked the non-Luftwaffe options although the Slovak uprising one gave me the idea to build it as a post war Czech example of a G-6/U2 with the tall tail.)
Academy Spitfire 14 with SAMI/Paul Lucas Spitfire F21 conversion (it was already assembled and there were some other spares with it)
Pavla Blackburn Skua (again, part started but only paid £2 for it.  Probable parts donor for a Frog one)
Misc 72nd civilian figures

At the REME Museum yesterday I picked up a part-built Airfix Gnat for the grand sum of.... £1.

Howard of Effingham

i missed listing this one from the cosford show....

1/72 special hobby douglas D-558-1 skystreak

it comes with some odd looking wing-tip drop tanks that caught PR19_Kit's eye but i think will do nicely for
drone control pods for use elsewhere.
