Yes, it's surprisingly big, and tall as well!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Am I the only one that thinks it's bloody ugly?? Even for the time period? Especially as HP built some real beauties in thier time.

My Revell He111 is No.04377, the Hasegawa rebox. Pretty sure the ex Frog kit is listed as an H-4/H-6 but I've not built one. Have a couple of the Italeri kits in the stash and the only one I've built is an old Matchbox one.

I've got Heyforditis, have two Heyfords in the stash. Needed one for a kitbash, bid on two and won both.

I've been to the Ballarat NNL today.
From the Swap & Sell (where I appeared to be the only person interested in the aircraft kits) the following stack of 1/72 kits for $40 the lot.
Pioneer 2 Yak 15
Italeri C119 G (or C - can't remember) Flying Boxcar.
Academy Stuka G2.  Mainly for the guns and spatted undercarriage.
And best of all an Airfix Fairey Rotodyne.  Scruffy box but bag unopened and decals intact.

On top of that from the silent auction I got a Revell Lancaster Mki/iii for $20

An Airfix Fokker F. 27 "Troopship" for EUR 10,-. Consider it to be a bargain (without a real plan - even though I can imagine mating the wings with a Martin Marauder...?), for the stash.

T'was indeed.  I regret not snapping up more but restrained myself with thoughts of the Swamp & Smell at Model Expo in 2 weeks...

The Boxcar is a G and it's the Testors Boxing.  And i've found the thread for a certain persons Tiger rescue service...
The Rotodyne is the 1996 re-pop and has 2 pilots in airline uniform.
The Yak is tiny and very cute (in an ugly way) and just what I need for the early post war PDRV airforce.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Been trying to find "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" decals as this was applied to a real world aircraft for a promotion flight.
Instead I bought a batch of HP nail stickers. Thought of using the Dark Lord as nose art on a Lancaster.

Not exactly kits, but two Flying Gliders (with Power Prop!), a Spitfire and Hurricane naturally.

Charlotte (Daughter 1B) has been itching to make a model with Daddy and I found the answer, three garishly coloured bits of foam that vaguely look like an aircraft for 75p each.  Thankfully, they haven't changed a bit and I enjoyed them just as much as I did with my Dad.  Had great fun flying them round the garden and continuously patching them up with sticky tape until one had lost it's prop, happy days!  What surprised me is it was Chloe (Daughter 1A) who is very much into pink, princesses and ballerinas enjoyed it more than the tomboy 1B.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
