From ebay today

1 x 1/144 BRAZ Models SVC-10 Conversion Kit

Gondor

I'd like to hear how you get on with that Alastair. I've looked at the conversion a few times, but I still have a Welsh Models vacform Super VC10 in The Loft.

Hopefully I will get it done some time this century Kit  :-\

Three Heyfords arrived from evil-bay at my euro stash yesterday.
The seller stated "all with problems. 1 started, 1 incomplete, 1 for spares".
Which I translate as "Ideal whiff fodder".

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Two Ta-152 in 1:72: one Aoshima Ta-152 H-0 and a Dragon C-0, both for less than EUR 4,- each (which I consider a steal, asp. the Dragon kit)!

The Wooksta!

The top cowl on the Aoshima kit isn't quite wide enough - there's a step.  Easy fix.  Invert the piece, run a scalpel along the joins a few times, then tease the sides out.

Apart from that, some filler round the tailplane roots and a bit of detailing needed in the cockpit (it's just a bare tub with decals), it's a beauty of a kit.

I never thought I'd read that of any Aoshima kit.  ;D

Amazingly I have one of those in The Loft, but it does have very long wings.....  ;)
