Also from the Avon Show, a Sword Lightning T4, a good looking kit complete with pre-painted etch for the cockpit, resin MB seats and exhausts.

Despite moulding the kit with both fins on the sprue, one for a T4 and one for a T5, Sword go to the trouble of snapping the non-applicable one off the sprue before packing it, and this while showing BOTH of them on the instruction sheet! I'd have thought that the time and labour involved in snapping one off more than outweighed the return they'd get from returning the un-used fin to produce....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Civilian.  Either an express mail plane or the precursor to executive jets.

Taking it back to its roots.  ;D

Exactly.  What If there were more potential customers plus the infrastructure to support flocks of tycoons taking to the skies?
And I suspect better soundproofing for the passenger cabin.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

new stash addition this morning :)

-Revell 1/72 F4U-1A Corsair (new mould)

at first glance, it looks decent, nice detail on the canopy, little to no flash,...
i think it would look great in Belgian Navy or Netherlands Navy markings

Feel free to use this background and/or adapt it any way you like. The chance of me ever getting around to building the models and writing it up fully any time soon are remote and it may never happen at all.

Thanks. It's a good scenario for a lot of possible builds, let alone the Blenheim

Yup to both ideas
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

From Hannants

Airfix Club limited edition  "First & Last" 1/72 (First Harrier GR1 in service, last Harrier GR9 in service) - in the special offers section
Also picked up a set of Pavla nozzles for the GR1 and the Model Alliance FAA Centenary Decal set with the GR9 and Sea King HAS5
(yes I know you can get the Hasegawa boxing, but I think the Airfix GR9 is better and the MA decals will be good  ;D

Rescued from the clutches of the local sub-post office this afternoon

1 x 1/48 Kitty Hawk MiG-25 PD/PDS. Its a fairly large box with very little space inside it!   Its also ended up being the most expensive kit I have ever bought what with postage and the customs costs.  :banghead:

Any idea what the aircraft is above the photographers head?

Maybe a Bristol Bombay?  Just a guess, but the spats and the nose with the turret would match...?
