Academy 1/72 T-37.  Now I have a Bronco, a Dragonfly and a Mohawk I need to come up with a suitable Whiff for the 3 of them.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

How about contenders for an Aus Army COIN requirement, a bit like the way the US Army tested small various small jets before the USAF put a stop to it?

The obvious one is PDRV CoIn operations against New South Wales forces in the 70's.
The aircraft being ex South Vietnamese AF purchased from the North following their victory.

Forgot.  I also got an AMT 1/24 Scooby Doo van (which was the reason to go to the LHS in the first place).  It's a snapper which i'm going to improve a touch (polish the body, detail paint, maybe swap the wheels and enhance the stance) and give to my niece as a house warming present.

Halfish price Airfix Valiant from Wonderland after Hannants and Airfix stopped (or ran out of) their reduced price stocks. Will be a real world build. A bit like the Vulcan and the Victor that have been in the stash for 20-odd years!  Or the second-hand Airfix Lancaster I paid a fiver for in 1980!!

Put rotor blades above each of them!!

My wife is reducing her stash. Two big trash bags of clothes and a giant bag of shoes out to charity.

Mrs_PR19 does that too, and then she goes out and buys some more.............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Recent acquisitions of the past month:

1/25th Lockhart-'Stutz' Blackhawk LSR car (aside from money Stutz actually had little to do with the car)
1/25th Reversed-ribbed Halibrand mags with Speedway tires
... both from American Racing Miniatures from Chris Etzel moulds.

1/35th Tauro A7V
1/35th Italeri Staghound
... both from a 'moving to Hawaii' stash sell-off.

1/45th Minicraft(Entex) 1872 Vulcan Saddletank and cars
... from a member of the club.

1/520th AMT Hindenburg (X2)
... from Tower Hobbies.

At the Farnborough show yesterday all 1/72

Valom Vickers Wellesley Mk I (African Campaign) Probably real world

Sword F2H-2P Photo Banshee - thinking Australian in Vietnam. Not normally a jet man but she's early enough to have some individuality about her, especially with the recce nose.

Airfix Fairey Battle still in the shrink wrap for £5  She will get a spinner for the prop and I'll do something with the canopy, maybe try and add a turret and she will be Hendon 1940. I also want the Belgian markings for a Blenheim that's heading for Telford.

Also got one of those "tacky" pencils for small parts. I shall report back
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

From ebay - CMK Blackburn Firebrand TF5

From Uncle Frank, courtesy of the Hannants sale - a dozen Airfix Spitfire Mk IXcs.  £4 each?  I'd be stupid to turn that down.  Hopefully they'll reduce the PR19 or the Mk I/IIa too!  Especially the 19 - I've just got two left in the stash after throwing together about 7 or so.
