At the Brampton Show I picked up the new release of the Fouga Magister from Airfix. Decals are for an Irish Silver Swallows bird no.220 or a Belgian bird. Looking closely at the plastic (same grey as the Gnat and Vampire) it's actually quite crisp and detailed. Not bad for a kit first moulded in 1975  :o ;D
This might be a real world build as I've got some great shots of the real thing (no.216) from a past visit to the IAC museum.

Also picked up a bunch of cheap 1/144 kits for £1 each. Army of One wants some and the rest can go in my stash for quickbuilds.

hmm, bit of a spree for me at brampton yesterday....

starting with vacforms [all in 1/72] of Vickers Valiant B2, P59 Airacomet, Dornier Do27, Brewster Buccanneer,
C-123 Provider and two Martin AM-1 Maulers

on the IM front, 1/72 airfix lancaster B2 and a hasegawa UH-60A.

special thanks to our very own deathjester, for his rather nice sets of stormfront decals. the ones with a scottish
flavor being very timely indeed.

btw, i wonder how OGL has gotten on at e-day in prague?  ;D ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

- and in the wake of this I found the radial Bf 109 very attractiv and "Japanese". Should look good in a simple IJN livery, in dark green and light grey?

Very much, so it looks a natural in Japanese colours. Mine was a simple green over grey, it suits it

Found the thread. Sorry for picture size I hadn't figured Photobucket then

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I forgot to update. Bad cartoon superhero.

All 1/700:
2 x Skywave Gato and Japanese Subchaser sets. (My father-in-law served on 4 GUPPY diesels and my plan is to recreate them sailing together)
Hasegawa JMSDF Kongo
Hasegawa JMSDF Kirishima
4 x Orange Hobby RAM Launcher sets

Could make for an interesting dio with the Kongo and Kirishima joining in with the chase of the Gatos

Man that would be a bad day for the Gatos...

Yeah, mine might turn into something similar - or a Manchukuo aircraft with some more odd colors - after all, I already have a IJN Fw 190 in the typical colors...

What are the decal options on the one Martin? Can't find any mention of it on their website.
