Your looking for AZ7484.

And its options are Czech, Hungarian, Swedish and Finnish.

It has the Czech What if sig logo on the box front, and it has Panther Gs artwork as the basis.
I always hope for the best.

experience has taught me to expect the worst.

September has been a productive month for me thanks to a spot of sick leave and then holiday on the doc's advice. I think my MoT has run out and the NHS are looking to do the repairs before I can get back on the road again. 4 lots of anti-biotics and new blood pressure pills - I think I'm funding the NHS !

Anyway sold a lot of kits on Evil-bay as my tastes change once again and after spending time lurking on evil bay I managed the following without anyone of them costing me more than a tenner (bar one item).

First off the change in tastes.... was interested in Japanese aircraft in 1/72 and then 1/72 modern armoured vehicles. They are now (almost) out and in come the following :

Matchbox - Dornier do.335
Italeri -  Messerschmitt me-210-A  (99p !)
Special Hobby -  AW Sea Hawk (I have an idea for this one !)
Revell - Fairey Gannet (annoyingly part started not mentioned but cheap)
Hasegawa - Grumman F11F Tiger - RAF ? Australian ? Tiger meet ?
Airfix - Red Arrows gift set (2 Gnats 1 Hawk) huge box for so little but just over a fiver - impulse buy no idea what to do with them !
Matchbox - Lightning T.55 - I remember when these went for silly money - £8
Matchbox - Hunter T.7 - ditto above £7
Hasegawa - Grumman OV-10A Mohawk - got to put those wings on something !
WS Models - Sukhoi Su-2 (I think that and the me-210 may swap sides)
Modelcraft - Blenheim Mk.1 and 1F 2 kits in one box again no idea - impulse buy - cheap
RarePlanes - Republic AT-12 Guardsman - I like vacuforms along as the subject can't be bought injected.
Revell - Arado Ar240A-02 - again no idea what to do with it
MPM - Vought Vindicator
Frog - Messerschmitt me-410
Frog - Junkers Ju-87 Stuka (on floats ?)
Frog - Rockwell OV-1 Bronco - something is brewing but not quite sure what the 410 wings may play a part
Special Hobby - Vultee A-35 Vengeance
Williams - Martin B-10

and the most expensive (supposedly only 500 models produced) a Blackburn Lincock £15 and when I was 'into' Japanese army and navy airforces I could never get one !

From another forum...

Emhar - Lockheed F-94-C
Matchbox - Heyford
Revell - Republic F-84F Thunderstreak
Novo - Vickers Vimy
Matchbox - AW Siskin
Airfix - Handley Page 0/400
Italeri - Junkers Ju86 Civil version
Aifix - Vickers Valiant (only £17 !)

The two WWI kits are for my grandson, he's doing the period at school and has to do something for the school exhibition. I'm told I can only 'advise'

Unfortunately back to work now so October should be a little easier on the pocket !

As mentioned elsewhere I bought an Airfix Lightning F6 from my LGS today (that's 20 miles away...) and it's as I expected of course, an F2A with overwing tanks, blanking plates for the upper cannon battery and otional cannon pack in the front end of the tank.

looking at the way airfix moulded this and the F2A, kit, you get the impression other variants may happen in the
future and plenty of useful spares in the meantime.

The Wooksta!

No, they can't get any other Lightning mark out of the box unless they added the bombs, rocket packs, etc for the BAC demonstrators or Suadi/Kuwaiti aircraft.

They'd need to make some major tooling changes to get one of the earlier marks out.

I'd agree with Lee there, both the F2A and the F6 have the rear half of the belly tank moulded in situ with the fuselage so they'd need a totally new mould for that. And the wings have the increased camber leading edges moulded into the top half, so once again the earlier versions would need new wings as well.

The lower half of the F6 wings don't have pilot holes for any stores pylons that I can see, and the F2A and F6 wing sprues are identical. They do have pilot holes for the upper wing tanks, and somewhat bizarrely they have pilot holes for the refuelling probe in BOTH lower wing halves! That'd make an interesting 'spot the difference' model, wouldn't it? I may do that on the PR9.  ;D ;)

The Wooksta!

Possibly, but it's a poor copy of the old Frog MkIa/Va.  You were robbed.  A penny is far to generous for that piece of tat.
