From the US? The only one I've seen over here was on the Airfix stand at Telford!  :banghead: :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Shame about the Swift, I was looking forward to that for Christmas :drink:
Still never mind, to make up for it I went to the Airfix 'Black Monday sale'....
(Virtually) ;D and on their way (soonish) to the English stash in holding for Germany,
Are 3 Yellowjack Folland Gnats, well at £1.99 for that lovely kit..... You'd be foolish not too
2 Union Jack Bae Hawks 2012 RAF Benevolent fund scheme
2 Bae Hawk 128 in the Mclaren/west Scheme (I think it's the Bae Demo scheme) but it's always
Reminded me of the F1 Colours of Mclaren.
And as make weight for the £30 free postage a Tucano

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

The Wooksta!

Hasegawa 1/72 S2F-1 Tracker 'JMSDF'.  From a friends stash, £7.  Will probably be a real world water bomber, to feed my current obsession.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Gondor

An arrival yesterday from ebay

1/72 Microscale 72-65 which will probably go towards my F-4 builds

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Dizzyfugu

A vintage ERTL TIE Interceptor! HAd this kit many years ago, started it, never finished, and then it fell apart... but some pieces remained, so I think these will be bashed in/onto a new, whiffy TIE interceptor prototype.

Spey_Phantom

just got another 1/144 Revell Airbus A400M this morning
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

NARSES2

Relieved the ex Alders of some more Humbrol paints on offer

Also noted that the MZ in Smiths has had a bit of a switch around. They appear to have had a delivery so relieved them of an Airfix Hurricane Mk I (yes I have built/am building a few already) This is the second boxing with the BoB machine and thus no early model parts, but I have a few of those anyway. They also have the pre-war/Belgian boxing in stock

 I'm jealous. You lucky ..........!  :banghead:

Anyway.........just ordered from Freetime Hobbies:
1/72 Planet Models A-12A Avenger II (Was on Clearence for $40 or so.)
1/350 Bronco Models USS San Diego SAN ANTONIO class LPD.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

zenrat

Got my $7 evil-bay Airfix Ford Trimotor.
Turns out to be missing the side window "glass", the fuselage has been glued together without fitting the interior parts and the fuselage mounted undercarriage struts have been broken off.
All of which mean it's ideally suited for it's role as a parts donor.
As well as using the seat to civilianise a Ca-311 the wing engines will be ideal power units for my tilt-fan FW 189 idea and the big corrugated wing with opening underside cargo compartments could be the start of a 30's water bomber.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
