Im toying with giving it an Air Min number under the title of "The one Winkle Brown didnt get to try"

Check his log book first for blanked out entries...........  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Wooksta!

It's really an Adamski saucer. Except that the gun turrets underneath are the field propulsion units.

For my main birthday pressie today Mrs_PR19 bought me the Revell 1/72 A400M, for which I have a serious Whiff in mind.  ;)

Boy is that thing BIG, and it has prop blades like I have socks. Not only that, it has TWO sets of props, one feathered and one un-feathered!

A serious whiff ? ;)
If I ever find an A400M at a 'good' price I'd be very tempted
To 'Belfast' it :o

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

No kits for Chrimbo but I did get a set of paints from Mrs z - Vallejo Model Air WW2 RAF & FAA colours - 16 paints.
And this morning I built a different kind of kit - a 12' trampoline.  An instant hit with the kids and no injuries.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've got two of them Kit  ;)  you know what one is being used for -- the other will be stretched with the left over parts of the first one
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

NARSES2

Couple of kits for Christmas

From niece, nephew's and assorted great nieces and nephews the Airfix 1/24th scale Typhoon. Now I new they were getting me this and it was delivered last week but remained unopened as I'm a good boy   It is truly magnificent    I've ordered a set of seat belts and the Airscale instruments and that really will be gilding the Lilly

The other one was a surprise from the girls I used to work with. The office has now moved back to Croydon so I saw them on Friday for a pre Christmas drink. Anyway the Dragon 1/72 Val. Now I know this was being sold at half price in the old Alders model concession and it's a nice kit and just about worth the £17 at a push ? but £34 never. Really nice surprise - ta girls   Was surprised at the low parts count though
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

ANOTHER kit for my birthday from daughter #1, her who's the Toy and Model Dept. Manager at a store in Oxford. A 1/24 scale Airfix Spitfire VB!  :o

I can't recall ever building a 1/24 scale aircraft model before, and it looks pretty good, so this may be my first.
