In the 'Self Nominated' Class I'm going to post my Hunter T12 for deliberation.  ;D

You mean we can nominate our own whiffs?

Love the Hunter BTW, it looks capable of going supersonic in level flight.
Cheers.

Yup.  Sometimes some great builds slip through the cracks, and it is a good way to get some overlooked builds into the competition.  Some categories just don't get as much interest.  Sometimes only the builders know how much went into something, and you gotta swallow a bit of pride and submit.  Nominations should still pass a reasonable test.

While I'm not sure that self-nomination is the way to go (I much prefer my peers to judge my builds), I will self-nominate one which I'm sorry to see wasn't judged well IMHO enough to get a nomination.

One of the problems is that so very few people actually nominate. If you look through them then you will see an awful lot are my nominations so you get what I like.

Anybody can nominate and it's not difficult to post the link and copy and post the pic. So see a model you like and give it a go
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I would but you always seem to beat me to it...

I have no problem with people nominating themselves (although I don't think i'd do it).  After all, if it doesn't deserve to be up then it'll get no votes.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Or how about ericr's Brewster Buffalo float plane
In the completely red section

And finally this one, because it's mine and I like it
Although I'm not sure what category?
Unnecessary  overuse of Spitfire bits? Most use of filler in a small model?....

I think most that I wanted to nominate were already in this thread when I saw them...
... but I'll nominate one of my own too - just because I've never been nominated
