A wonderful piece: pwagner's White Falcon (an ex F-16XL!), IMHO for best SF and the Top Gun section, if we have this one again in 2015.

Excuse me if I'm being a bit dense and I possibly missed where it said? ....I'm presuming these latest nominations are now for the 2015 Whiffies?
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Dizzyfugu

Yes - the numbers are a bit confusing, as the 2015 award is based on 2014 entries. A basic problem that has been harrassing the Whiffies ever since...

That`s correct. As Dizzy says it can seem a bit confusing as the Awards show is always for the preceeding years work, but please feel free to blame the real Oscars Awards for that one...  ;D

Maybe it's the title of the thread? We've just had the 2014 Whiffies so we now must be in with a chance to sway the 2015 Whiffies? From the thread I'd got the impression that models could be entered into the current Whiffies up until the last moment, when as the nomination stage for 2014 Whiffies finished they then were entered into the 2015 Whiffies.

I've a feeling I'm digging myself a hole here!  ;D :o  :banghead:

You'll be needing a ladder to get out that's for sure  ;D

The 2014 Wiffies will be awarded in March 2015 as said above, just like the Oscars - mind you I do understand what you are saying. It's get complicated at this time of year because as we've just had the ceremony it's still in the mind for 2014 and the brain goes "next one is 2015", which of course it is

Think I'll join you in that hole  ;D ;D

I want to make a smart, stunning, intelligent, thought provoking and insightful response.......

but I think the hole would become a tunnel to the Antipodes!   :o  ;D

..... So, not very deep, from where I'm standing. ;D

This is why, iirc, the Oscar's are numbered, like the Olympics, rather than dated.

So (getting his spade out) is the only way I could sway the 2014 Whiffies (see thread title) is to travel back to 2013   :o ;D

Yes. And you have to hurry in 2014 to be part of the parade in 2015!

Time is a confusing thing, isn't it? And counting, too.  ;)

I think "Best Kitbash" is a category too.

(I always forget where to find the list of categories. It wasn't at the beginning of this thread: I checked)

Dizzyfugu

Time for some nomination - this is worthy, IMHO, one of those things you see and juts say "Wow, YES!": PantherG's beautiful PZL Karas in pre WWII USAAF colors (for the Best Profile/CG category and Best Alternative Markings):
