Out of curiosity, a fundamental question to the Jury: Does the Vanship qualify as a Whif?
It's fictional, yes, but actually a build of a "real/authentic" vehicle?

Don't want to sound/be nit-picky, but how are such SF/fantasy entries handled? 

On the other side: worthy nomination, great build of that delicate thing!

It`s a fair question Dizzy and I would say it`s a `grey` area to an extent.

I think Philip himself put it best.....,

`a model of Capt. Kirk would qualify as a what if even if it was an attempt to model Shatner as the character just like a model of NCC 1701 is also a whiff.  Course, a Constellation Class starship in RAF markings is more of a whiff but both would qualify.`
