Taken me a few weeks to get this done, (better start sorting out the whiffie awards now...).

When it comes to whiffing the A-6 Intruder, the obvious choice from what I`ve seen is a Royal Navy version.

So I thought to myself, what if I go further into it`s future? Like the Buccaneer, would the RAF have taken it on once the carriers were scrapped in the mid 70`s?

So here is my well worn RAF Intruder as I think they may of looked.

Looks good. Interesting take on the intruder.

Which kit/scale?

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Very nice - first time I think I've seen an RAF Intruder on the forum.

I came close to whiffing a Prowler a few years ago.  Cheapo (£2.99) Zengdhefu kit - idea was to do it in 360 Sqn colours.  Decided the stash was big enough so got rid of the kit.  Stash has of course increased since!

Now that looks right ! Great job. Love the camo and weapons load. The centerline tank with wrap around is a nice touch....don't see that very often. And the weathering is perfect...especially the landing gear.

Awesome job on this one !

Fantastic! Great idea.  All sorts of possibilities for weapon load outs.

That looks MAGNIFICENT!

And 12 Sqdn. at Lossie would be just the right unit too.

Thanks guys.

Been a bit slack on the what if builds recently. Got a 74 Sqn `real world` project to get done so it`s back to that for a March deadline.

Lovely idea, execution and eye for detail (e .g. ordnance) - the Whiffies 2014 nomination is well deserved
