Too much yellow ? I followed the traditional RN SAR demarcation line.....but it looks too yellow to me. Of course, that might change as more parts are panted and the bits and bobs are added....

I think a bit bright.  Yellow is a very tough color- hate it.  I usually go with a light primer coat underneath.

I might try a flat section as a test panel to see what it looks like. Then maybe I can do more. I did the windscreen last night and it's already looking better. Like I said, it might be ok once all the bits and bobs are painted and added. Probably going to fab up a search light and maybe a black anti-glate bit on the nose to 'dumb it down' a little more.

Once matted down and with markings it will look a little calmer I think mate

If that's RAF Golden yellow, (or thereabouts) that'll look fine
Do carry on Captain ;D

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

There's three Humbrol types of RAF 'yellows' Keith, there's 'Trainer yellow', 'SAR Yellow' and 'Insignia Yellow',  each looks a bit different from the others.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

TallEng

Only three! Oh well  ;D I guess we'll have to wait and see what the Captain says the colour is.
Personally I think trainer yellow or SAR yellow will be Good, I've got a feeling insignia yellow
Will be too "Lemony"

Photos ? From me ? lol.....coming soon ! Still adding a few more fiddly bits. I noticed last night that I screwed up the regimental markings that the army uses....right headquarter unit but wrong formation insignia for the Second Canadian Corps. Hope to rectify that tonite as well !

Almost done this one....maybe today even. I've been terrible with my photography for awhile, ever since my camera broke. Here's a small update via my phone.

Amen Brother Nils ! I'm just adding a few more aerials and decals to dress it up a bit. Have to touch up some paint, dress up the rotors a bit, and she's good to go ! I did some research on CDN Army Aviation....very hard to find info on that short window of time let me tell you ! But I came up with a unit that's plausible, even tho if post-war it was an actual British Army unit
