Thanks for the positive comments gents
Smallish update:

You might be able to see the enlarged radiators, and you can definitely see the cardboard mock up of the fins,

Does the bottom fin make it look to big/heavy at the back? Aka (does my bum look too big in this?)  ;D

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

2 Griffons increased the speed so much... the Air Command asked Supermarine: what-if you install FOUR Griffons?

Thanks!

Just make the horizontal tail surfaces bigger and say the added lift corrects it.
The boys at the engine plant will have to work even more overtime!

I'd make the top fin a bit larger, and reduce the tail a tad, not too much though, Looks great and a great place to stick the tail wheel...

Actually tailplanes usually give negative lift to aid the stability of the whole aircraft.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Good work so far.
I'd lose most of the bottom fin, leaving just a small triangle, make the horizontal tail surfaces wider and add fins at the ends.
But that's going away from the Spitfire look a bit more.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I might have a cunning plan for the wheels.....
of course if it doesn't work, wheels up is always an option
