This build is the result of wanting something different from the kit's prototype markings. This is a service test bird engaged in cold weather testing in Alaska. Construction is OOB except the pitot tube is made from a drafting pin. Kit decals are used. The paint is hand-brushed Testors #1181 Aluminum, Model Master Fluorescent Red over Floquil Reefer White primer. The tailcone and panel over the tailpipe is Testors #1146 Silver. I used brushed-on Vallejo Satin to take the shine off of the decals and blend them into the Red. I am pleased with my results.

Adios, Larry.

That DOES look good.

One of my fave aircraft I must admit, which kit and scale was it please?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very well done Larry, both silver and orange are very tough to brush on and you did it very well. Nice.
