Thoroughly enjoyable day out.......I think Max enjoyed it as well.....even after repetative "Don't touch....don't lean on the table.....don't lean over the table....!!!" reminders. .......everyone was so good to him....

A really good day, yes, even though it was pretty tiring. Being in the 'Back 40' meant a long walk to see any traders or to get a drink and a bit to eat.

Great to see the good 'ole crowd' again, specially Hank and Max and Knightflyer too.

Piccies posted later on, when I wake up..................

Hi guys!  Sorry I missed the show - looking forward to seeing the pics though!  Maybe the next Brampton show we can meet up?

Pics I took of the SIG stand, and a few of the other Whiffs in the show.

An overall view of the SIG stand, Trevor in charge...  ;D

(No, I have NO idea what Trevor is indicating in the background!)

Sections of the SIG stand

Hank's wonderful Maltese Defence Force tanking diorama.

Specially for Tophe  ;D My friend Ian Peacock's 1/48 Malinowski Spitfire IX together with the data that Tophe linked a few days ago.

Do NOT mess with this modeller! Hank on the alert....

But he's a softy really.....  ;D

Bomber Command SIG Whiff section.

A cracking 1/48 scale RAF Grumman Skyrocket.

And lastly a neat MiG15Z on the SovAF SIG stand.

Yup good show and a really good display, well done gents  But as Kit says tiring and quite a long journey. Took about 3 hours to get there and 2 and bit back by train so it's about the farthest I go for a one day trip.

Anyway here's my pictures. Repeat most of Kit's but a different angle at least  My favourites ? Hank's 1/144 stuff - fantastic, Mike M's Hendon 1940 and the Arado 555's by Richard and Trevor (I think) especially the USAF 555 with blended jets and those massive intakes

Bet he wears that under his uniform lol
I always hope for the best.

experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Oh no, beginning to feel a Do335 whif with 2 stacked jet engines and a nose full of cannons coming on!
