A nice surprise at Huddersfield was that Freightdog has just released the US Mk7 Nuclear Bomb, which is handy for arming your Airfix Canberra's or suitable alternatives

Isn't that always the way?  You lovingly scratchbuild something only to discover that its just been released by someone else in a resin/injection moulded form?   :banghead:

And as this is Whiffworld by Heyfords, Gothas, Mosquitos and even Zeppelins...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Zeppelin carried ones had Unobtanium casings as they needed to improve on the lift of the gas to offset the weight of the uranium.....  ;)

 But only while they developed the woven nanotube/vacuum foamed buckyball composite casings. ;)

Lead shielding on the gondola (thus the need for more lift) to protect the crew while it surfs the blast front out of Dodge.   ;)

Although if you had an airship you could mount a 16" battleship gun to it and shoot nuclear shells at the enemy from a distance - now THAT would be one hell of a gunship...

Some time ago I bought a Testors/Hawk Republic Thunderjet F-84F because it looked different to the Airfix F-84F.  Turns out it was more a model of the YF-84F and not an F-84F at all.  Anyway, the kit comes with a set of decals to do a Mk.7 equipped F-84F, found a photo of almost the same scheme in the F-84 in Action book.  Of course this decal scheme never, ever appeared on an YF-84F ----- I'm going to use it on another Airfix kit, which is why I was making up my own Mk.7 bomb,

My mind is BOGGLING at the thought of a Zeppelin doing a 4G LABS attack!  :o :o :o

Not to mention the recoil. And the blast would pop the envelope! Imagine a 200m-long balloon doing the "whizzing-round-the-room-as-it-deflates" thing... ;D
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<
