Dork the kit slayer

Following a long moan and rant to some of my fellow wiffers :drink: ,at Huddersfield , about the problems  :banghead:I had with this Italeri  (aka Accurate Miniatures) Avenger.

I went back to the bench a wiser and more enlightened soul and completed said kit.

...............and before Im run off the site on a rail "The Boss"   said it was alright to post real world stuff.

For the "modelling nerds" its painted using Lifecolor and Tamiya acrylics through an Iwata hp-c and clear coated with Klear/Tamiya flat base mix.

Being an anally retentive miserable g1t I feel compelled to point out that we Brits operated both.

As we did the Martlet and the Gannet (a.k.a. Wildcat and Hellcat).

Lovely build, mind.

I didn't know (or had forgotten) that the Hellcat was the "Gannet" - beauty of this site, you learn something new every day. Mind you some of what comes from Rad's posts you wish you hadn't learnt

Yup. And with the age of most of us, we'll continue to learn, forget, and then re-learn again ( for the first time  ) ad infinitum !
