Blackbird Models now do decent two stage Merlins for the 1/72nd Tamiya Mosquito, manufactured by CMK, soon to be followed by a Mosquito High Ball conversion which they also do decals for in the form of 618 squadron markings.

The good news is they now have an Avro Lincoln conversion being mastered now and due for production by CMK in the early summer. The conversion is based on the new Airfix BII kit and included the stretched nose RAAF MR version.

The Lincoln conversion sounds nice. Not sure what the RAAF version is, but I wonder if they'd consider doing a set of post-war RCAF Lancs ?

Yessir ! Arrow Graphics did 2 or 3 Lancs as well. And Leading Edge I think did one post war bird, and Belcher Bits have a set, and also the Firebee drones. One of these days !

Hello all!

Who runs Blackbird Models these days?

Is their website still tended?

I ask as I've tried to get a hold of them for weeks now to no reply.

Thanks!

Don't bother.  Glenn Ashley is full of promise but woefully short on delivery.
