Odd - those ideas have the profile of an Olympic class liner...

Okay, found the links.  Viggen strike and fighter variants and F-106A Delta Dart, 'bout time we had some modern tools:

AJ-37 Viggen: http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/338/
JA-37 Viggen:  http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/339/
F-106: http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/336/
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Four new ones:

Australian Sentinel ACII in 1/35 and 1/72 - http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/379/
Australian Sentinel ACII in 1/35 and 1/72 - http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/344/

Again two chances 'cause the approver didn't seem to approve the first one very quickly.  And two more:

Bristol Britannia 1/72 - http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/282/
Vickers Viscount 1/72 - http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/281/

Somebody's beat me to this morning's bright idea: the F-16XL:

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/237/

They've put it as a new development and not stated a scale, but didn't Monogram do a 1/72nd one, in which case it would just be a matter of reissuing it?

Not  that simple perhaps , aren't Revell/Monogram and Revell De two seperate companies ?

Andrew

Monogram did do a 1/72 F-16XL

As for company structure. I thought/think that Revell De was bought back by the US parent company last year ? It was a completely separate entity for years (not even affiliated to the US company)  but has now gone back.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Monogram F-16XL needs a good bit of modification to make a good likeness.  I got one last year and have a copy of the mods from an old IPMS/USA article.

Would love to see a Gannet Aew3.  The only version of this plane I want to make.

Will vote for the 106 also.

As was pointed out the German pages have different ideas.

There are 2 versions of the engineer Leo on the German site. The Bergpanzer and the Buffell AFV modeller please note (and vote please please!)

When you submit an idea, you can enter the information in English, German or both. If the fields are left empty for one language, the idea won't show up. And there are lots of doubles. Sadly, the site has trouble keeping up and could use some design improvements.

No, I've left the fields in German blank on all my ideas and they've shown up, eventually.

I agree the site needs some serious redesign and a bit of grunt behind it.  Looks like they've done it on the cheap and been a bit overwhelmed with the response.   :banghead:

Get the feeling this is a reaction to the lack lustre response to their 2013/14 line up and as a result its a bit rushed and ill thought out from the feel of it plus its already being abused such as the 48th Iskara or the Dutch military vehicles. they should have left it to an email in then post up the top 100 viable suggestions and do a vote from there.
