Thanks, Hobbes--I've wanted one of those ever since it was my personal hero Robert "The Equalizer" McCall's ride of choice. :)

I get the feeling Revell may regret this exercise as collating and analysing the data is going to take some time to determine what are genuine potential kits and what have been corrupted by misuse. The other downside is that the competition from the east or far east can see what's getting peoples attention and they may well be able to produce a kit and bypass the lengthy product development and licencing agreements that the larger mainstream producers must go through !

BTW has anybody asked for a radial engine HP Halifax or an accurate merlin engine Halifax after they fluffed that kit with fat engines ?

I just wish the Kelvin would get more votes.

Okay cheers folks: I've tried again with pics that DEFINATELY meet those rules. We'll see if they come up tomorrow.

Still not getting pics on my suggestions. I've uploaded pics to all four that are less than 500 pixels wide and WAY less than 1mb. They're all JPEGs and I'm using windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 (I think). I'm now at a loss...... :banghead:

As a fully qualified cynic I won't state my point of view  However as long as people are enjoying themselves
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I am not certain if they will regret it, but I also feel the whole thing a bit pointless. To me it's like a placebo pill - and I agree that small companies from EMEA or APAC have much more potential (and even courage) to supply rather exotic kits. Revell is mainstream, and a clumsy tanker - I'd assume that it takes years before only a single of these suggestions (repops might be faster, O.K.) hits the market.

Dizzyfugu you are a bit wrong the Revell Ar-196 was made for about a year or so (probably more cause of a greedy Bulgarian modeller )
for instance 3D models such as the Vesta will be fast as they were made with this in mind

They could update their Br1150 Atlantic to the Mk2 standard. I know a fellow whiffer showed me the resin conversion but it's almost the same price as a secondhand kit.
They also do or did the Lockheed P-3C Orion, a new set of decals would be nice. Maybe the EP-3C or AEW version.

I note that many of the suggestions are only new to Revell.  The items that are already made by other manufacturers I suspect will go to the bottom of the list when decision time comes.   I wonder though, if they'll just renew their acquaintance with Hasegawa and certain Eastern European model makers and issue their kits under their name, as they have in the past?

This Pistenbully 600 is right up at the top of the voting, screams out as whiff fodder to me.  Arm it up, moonbuggy, Gerry Anderson, all good.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Oregon City-class CA was my most recent add.  No, I'm not greedy for ships to build the RK fleet that *aren't* resin.

And I just noticed someone wants a 1/350 SMS Scharnhorst.
