You cannot save Tweeted picture so here are links to few nice shots taken today:

[Pantomime mode on]

OH YES YOU CAN!  ;D :lol:

<snip>

Just needs a little lateral thinking.  ;D

How is it done kit? Please.

Bring up the Twitter page on a PC, hit the 'Print Screen' button and open up a graphics programme, I use PaintShoPro, and hit 'Ctl-V'. The entire screenshot comes up on the graphics prog and you can edit, modify and save to your heart's content.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Carol the BBC Breakfast shows weather lady was at Biggin this morning along with the 2 Lancasters and assorted other historic aircraft. They will be appearing at the Eastbourne Air Show this weekend (plus a couple of others to and from) so I might have to get a train down there tomorrow.  ;D

They already WERE at Eastbourne y'day Chris, so I hope its a longish event so you can get to see them. Maybe it was just a test flight?

I'm actually popping over to Bournemouth for the Air Festival end of this month. First priority is to get a glimpse of the fastest Avro "alive", but having found out that there will be a two-ship Lancaster pack, the trip certainly got even better. Unfortunately, I can't stay for the Canberra and Sea Vixen displays on Sunday, but then I have a reason to come back another time..
:thumbsup:
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Martin H

well I will be seeing the pair of em tomorrow*  ;D :thumbsup: :bow: :bow: :bow:

* weather permitting
I always hope for the best.

Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

4 day show Kit. If the pier had hung on for another couple of weeks then it would have been interesting  :rolleyes:

Air Traffic Control "OK which one of you pulled the bombs away lever ?"  ;D

well it seems that today the BBMF decided it was to windy to appear anywhere today. They cried off the Sywell appearance apparently with out informing the organisors they wernt coming!

the commentator finally confirmed the no show about 30mins before the end of the show.
I always hope for the best.

Glad I took the train ride to Eastbourne Saturday as the Kenley flypast was cancelled Sunday - BBQ was good though.

Went to Eastbourne with a mate who wasn't really into air shows as such but there's some nice pubs down there so he thought he'd have a day out. Think he got quite into it in the end  ;D Well worth the trip.

well im lining up a few more chances to see the pair for my self.

a couple of flypasts within easy reach of Northampton, and tickets for Duxford on sept 14th have just been booked.

This lancaster hunting lark is starting to get expensive!
I always hope for the best.
