Well, if anyone would have told me before tonight that I'd have been standing here holding a Whiffie I'd have said they were off their head, but that's the way life goes.

I'd like to thank all who voted for me, 'tc2324' himself for organising the whole shebbang (and well done him for that WONDERFUL Tornado, that model was 'mentioned in dispatches' at today's North Somerset Modeller's Show at Weston-super-Mare I might add) I'd like to thank my Mum, I'd like to have thanked my Dad but he's not with us any more, and Mrs PR_19 for putting up with my brainstorms. I'd also like to thank Hawker Siddeley Aviation for designing the aircraft that I modelled, Revell for screwing up the scale of their Snark so that I COULD model it, Dizzifugu for getting me a lifetime's supply of putty, Humbrol for making such colourful paints, my producer, director and agent....Oh no, wrong awards ceremony, sorry. And lastly to my Hat, without which I wouldn't not be the person I am.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Thanks tc2324 for all your time and effort.

WoW a multi Whiffie year. I'm buzzed. Time to party (or maybe a quiet glass of scotch) Thanks guys for taking the time to look at my work and to vote.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Great show and deserved winners.

Well done to all and especially to TC for organising it
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Fantastic selection and fully deserved awards to the winners. My vote for the category of overall winner (if there was one) is Dizzyfugu's EMB320. Superb looking machine and would look totally believable in both the real world and a sci-fi film. Congrats to all .

Weaver

Congratulations to the winners and to the runners up: it was particularly hard picking a winner in most categories this year, and if we'd had to score them, it would have been a photo-finish.

Thanks very much for all your efforts in putting this on tc2324!

Thanks Tony for a great Whiffies.  Once again, the Academy really thanks you for stepping up and taking over MC and other duties.  Also, you Tornado is fantastic so don't be embarrassed.

There were some really great builds this year though a few I really loved didn't make the final cut but those that did are well deserving.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thank you all for the nice words and I`m glad you enjoyed the show.

At the end of the day I`m just the guy who puts it all together and it`s actually the forum members who actually make the show what it is. So with that in mind, I`d like to thank you to all you for doing what you do.

Due to family commitments and the fact that I`m off to the 74 `Tiger` Sqn Annual Reunion Dinner this weekend with my `Tiger` collection of 1/48 models, I`m afraid it won`t be a few weeks to get the Winner certificates out to the winners. Sorry about that, but they are a coming.  ;D
