Viewing the Whiffies nominees and winners is two-edged sword for me - I admire the workmanship, skill and sheer imagination of them all , and at the same time I hate them all because [in my mind] its far superior to my own efforts

Ah, now I've got to the age where I know and can accept my limitations. I find them inspirational but I'm quite comfortable where I am with my modelling ability, or lack of it. Growing old disgracefully has its advantages sometimes

EXACTLY how I feel at this stage in my life, I build what I want to build at my current level of capability and I'm not that fussed about 'pushing forward the frontiers of modelling'.

I`m slowly but surely making my way through sending out the certificates with a number of winners still to get back to me with a relevent email address. I`m away for a few days now so I`ll send out the rest starting Monday.

I completely forgot about the Whiffies Awards Show. I was surprised to find that I had  been nominated for a build in two different categories. I am honored to be in such august company. I build for fun. I am happy to share my humble efforts. Congratulations to all winners and nominees. Well done to all! Pain and confusion to all rivet-counters!
