But, Kit, is there enough space for the extended wing spans?

Sure, the Severn is a mile wide here. Even MY aircraft don't have wings that long.

Hm, but now you mention it............  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I did, way back in  the mid 1970's, build an F-16 of the Free Scottish Air Force.

<snip>

The colour scheme was light grey underside and a three tone camouflage on the top. The colours being a dark brown with a slight golden hint "Bracken Brown, Autumn", Dark Green "Scots Pine Green" and a darkish grey that was more purple than anything else "Heather Grey".

I've just screwed up an attempt to build a Scottish Air Force F-16B for the build over on BTS. Mine has a two-tone air-to-air/maritime scheme of Drizzle Grey over Mist Grey.... ;D

Is that known as the Dreich Grey scheme....?  ;D

No, No, No Nick. That is much too bright and cheerful to be called Dreich.  :rolleyes:

Meanwhile, isolated from Continental USA, Hawaii considers whether to declare independence as the Republic of Hawaii...

Not more likely to return to a monarchy?  It already has the Royal Palace, the only US state to do so.

Rouge Nation - is that a reference to the makeup Mel Gibson was wearing in Braveheart ;D?

Just Joe's typo error, it should read Rogue Nation.

I gathered as much from the link that Joe provided, but I just couldn't resist the opportunity for a cosmetics related pun ;). Admittedly it was somewhat coloured (pardon the additional pun) by the not too distant dust-up (oops, yet another pun) about these Sarah Palin related books: http://www.amazon.com/Going-Rouge-Nightmare-Richard-Kim/dp/0757315240, http://www.amazon.com/Going-Rouge-Sarah-Coloring-Activity/dp/0615332773, and of course, the one and only inimitable original, http://www.amazon.com/Going-Rogue-Sarah-Palin/dp/B0046HAIZK.

BTW: Your tagline should really read: 'Aquila (only one l) non captat muscas (c instead of k)'
