DHC Beaver CCG

Hey Folks !

This one has been 'floating around'  the half-built pile forever. Basic HC Beaver on floats. Added wheels from the spares box ( front ones recognizable as Harrier ) and a few bits and bobs, including a FLIR turret and 3-bladed prop.

Known by it's unofficial nickname of 'Electric Beaver'. Used for coastal surveillance as well as SAR, the versatile Beaver is a mainstay of the CCG.

Robert, the gear and wheels are from the spares box and the front are from a Harrier. Most Harrier kits have a set for in flight and on the ground, so voila ! Spares !
