Callum and I are just back from Perth.  We had a great time.  Callum was delighted to be allowed to put the Alpha Jet of the Tiger Squadron, and the Sabre Jets of the Shark and Leopard squadrons beside the lovely models of the group.

Thanks to all for making him so welcome.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Back home from Perth. Had a little problem with the lap top while there as the battery appears to be a bit dodgy and ran down much quicker than expected or I would have posted pictures directly from the show!

Here is a picture one of our members will not forget in a long time.........

Luckily the UXB decided not to go off when Jay Bee sent it flying during an expansive moment!

The rest of the pictures I took can be seen here as I don't feel like posting over 20 pictures. There was a really great model of a Russian Sub in 1/100 scale from Paper! Looked fantastic. The pictures may be a little mixed up but include pictures of and from the SIG displays, the competition tables and around the show, basically where ever I say something that I could tell was a Whiff, looked as if it could be a whiff or was of interest.

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Was that the occasion of the inaugural meetings of the 'Vampire SIG' and the 'Yak 15 SIG' then? ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It's also starting to look a bit like an offshoot of the F-4 SIG as well Kit
