The premise of the GB this model is part of was a `what if` 50th anniversary special with the rules stating that any aircraft is game as long as it isn`t a type that has or is used by the Red Arrows, ie, Gnat or Hawk.

I felt that the A-4 was an ideal alternative as it has been used as a display aircraft before so here she is.

Given the way that one of the early Vulcans was thrown round the sky at a Farnborough  display(can someone confirm that Roly Falk was the driver in question?)  is there any possibility of a Avro Vulcan or three in a Red Arrows  display season?

Oh, Lord. That one is not made here. We can't have that. Bloody colonial cheek. Buy British. Up John Bull!

I like it. The Scooter is a great airshow machine. Well done, sir!

Perfect. And as said, the Skyhawk is a perfect airshow bird. Imagine the Arrows showing up at a major USN show in those ?

Great job. Is it the new Airfix kit ?

It surely was Roly Falk doing the Vulcan driving at those early F'boro displays. I was there of course  ;D and at one of the, I think the second occasion, we saw him walk out to the aircraft and climb the ladder wearing a dark grey suit!  :o

But the aeroplane was all white, no red on it at all apart from the middle bit of the roundels and the front of the fin flash.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
