Just put up some pictures of the Intermodellbau 2014 show in Dortmund.
As always some unbelievable figure painting.

The character figure for the T-4 is nice - probably completely scratch-built, with the box art as benchmark. So sad that there's always just the egg plane inside, and none of the sometimes really nice figures...

Ooh, look! The Japanese David Caradine! ;)

Had a similar thought.

The work on that beard is absolutely superb

I'd missed that because I was so intent on the face, but yes it is outstanding workmanship.

Had a chance to peruse the rest of the pics. Awesome stuff in there ! A few mentinoables for me :

The little rescue dio. Love that boat, but surely someone could have just walked the 10 yards in knee deep water to help the guy ?

The supply depot dio. Wow ! That is massive ! Did you sneak back in after the light were out to play ? I would have ( tried, anyway  )

The truck collection. Even a drilling rig ! Nice stuff.

Loved the WWI era 3-tonne truck.

The last dio. What an interesting ( and busy ! ) scene. Looks all the more better in that lovely fall foliage. Great work, must have taken years !

Thanks again for sharing.
